How is Pam's Ladies Happy Hour different from other networking events?

We write our name tags in GREEN and BLUE. Blue if you love networking and can talk to anyone. Green if the opposite is true. The goal is for people who are new to networking or find networking awkward to be supported by the women in the room who find networking fun and easy.

Only whatever food and drink you order to support the local venue.

Attendees are encouraged to get to know people who they are rather than what they do, but you're more than welcome to bring cards to hand out.

Do I have to be in business to attend?

Accepted Answer

Everyone is welcome.  Entrepreneurs, employees, retirees, students, stay at home moms, those in between careers.  As long as you're looking to genuinely connect with other women in our community, we would love to have you.

This event is typically hosted at a different venue each month.  You do not need to attend the full 2 hours - come and go based on what works for your schedule.

Do I have to drink alcohol to attend 'happy hour'?

Absolutely not.  Water, coffee, tea, juice, etc.  Feel free to order whatever the venue has to offer.
