Do you want to deepen your understanding of the current occupation of Palestine and learn how to support justice and liberation in the region? Join JVP Bay Area for our 8-session course (now in its 6th year!) designed for those seeking an introduction to this subject matter and with an emphasis on settler-colonialism.

This Zoom workshop will be held on Monday evenings, May 9 - Jun 27, from 6:30-8:00pm Pacific. (Note: first session on May 9 only will run 6:30-8:30 pm). Suggested donation is $15 - $30 though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Money collected will be used as an honorarium for a Palestinian guest speakcer.

Classes incorporate lecture, chat discussion, video, speakers, and Q&A opportunities, exploring topics such as antisemitism and Zionism, the Nakba, the occupation and current conditions in Palestine, the U.S. role in the "peace process", and Palestinian resistance.
