Event description
The Flowers Chemical Labs OCCO Concert Series kicks off with three world premiers written specifically for OCCO.

About this event

OCCO kicks off its Flowers Chemical Laboratories OCCO Concert Series with three world premiers written specifically for OCCO. "Pale Blue Dot" is a concert that reminds us of our universal connection as well as the importance of co-existing in a way that cultivates mindfulness for each other and our planet in the aftermath of the pandemic. We are excited to feature composers and artists from Australia, Asia, and Central Florida.

More than at any other point in our lifetime, we are aware of how much of the human condition pervades the world, regardless of our ethnicity, religion, ideology, or economic status. If the pandemic reminds us in one of the worst ways, then music reminds us in one of the best ways. This program centers on our emotional, mental, and physical connections, as well as the need to co-exist and pay reverence to the place we call home.

"Pale Blue Dot: Celebrating Our Connection In The Aftermath Of Separation" is presented by Massey Services and in celebration of Richard David Ott.
