We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual PAK Community Dinner will be held at the Inn at Reading on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 beginning at 5:00. This year PAK is excited to welcome Lee Olsen as our Keynote speaker. Mr. Olsen, a resident of Berks County, is a successful architect and a well know regional speaker whose focus is on addiction and recovery.
Lee Olsen exudes a sense of confidence, poise, and fearlessness.
One assumes these attributes came from attending Penn State University, the
Pratt Institute, and the Harvard School of Design and becoming a registered
architect in 1980, licensed in 10 states. Could it be when he enlisted in
the Navy during the Vietnam War, or better yet because he was born,
educated, and raised in the city of Reading in Pennsylvania?
You would be wrong. It comes from addiction. Lee is humbled and honored to
share his story of overcoming addiction. The audience will be inspired,
motivated, and challenged to be a better person..because it is possible.
Proceeds from this event benefits Easy Does It, Inc. of Leesport, Pennsylvania, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals and families recovering from the effects of addiction.
In addition to the Dinner, as a way of saying thank you for helping PAK help the community, display tables will be provided for event sponsors to showcase their organization, products and services. Another fun addition to this year event will be a giant silent auction. Dozens of great items will be available on which to bid. At the end of the night, the highest bidder will take home the prize. Finally, every attendee will receive a collectable booklet memorializing their attendance at the PAK Community DInner
PAK is a business networking group dedicated to helping like minded individuals thrive professionally and serve the community while having fun. The PAK philosophy is the Professional Golden Rule, "Besides myself, which members of the pack would benefit from knowing this information?" When you become part of the PAK, you begin to care as much about the PAK's success as you do your own, and, for some mysterious reason, you achieve financial freedom in the process. It takes much self discipline, much focus, and as much commitment.
The PAK meets every other Thursday morning at the Inn at Reading for its regular interaction.
We are proud to annouce the proceeds for the event will be donated to EDI.
