Painting and drawing are the exercise of the mind to help you see the world in a different light. Train your eye to see the primary objects, found in complex shapes, to develop a different perspective and change the way you "see". This class focus on individual developments (2 students/class). It address traditional and modern techniques, materials and the vocabulary of painting in oils, acrylic or drawing in pencil or ink. Subject matter can be adapted to each student's interests, including abstract, cityscape, organic, figure, etc. More than just learning to paint and draw, it's a path to discover your passion, inner energy and free spirit.

June Li was traditionally trained in art in China. She earned her BFA from Sonoma State University and began to explore more expressive and abstract work after she moved to her beloved city, San Francisco. While June is an established graphic designer, her true love is paint to inspire others to discover the beauty and power of life. She explores life passionately along canvas roadways working in her studio in Potrero Hill.
