<h2>Expressing one’s pride in their individual identities is critical for one’s well-being. Asserting who we are is an act of self-love and self-care. </h2><h2>On Wednesday, October 26th, at 12:15pm to 1:30pm, each student is supplied with an 8”x10” canvas, paint and brushes at this in-person event. </h2><h2>Samples of queer designs meant to inspire will be provided, but participants are free to paint their Pride in any way that best expresses who they are.</h2><h2>D﻿J Unico spins while you paint!</h2><h2>In-person venue: QC Quad or Dining Hall (rain location)</h2><h2>Queens College and other CUNY students, faculty and staff may attend. Valid CUNY ID and CLEARED 4 access are required to enter the Queens College campus.</h2><h2>This event is made possible through the generous support of the CUNY LGBTQIA+ Consortium in partnership with the New York City Council.</h2><h2>Co-sponsors: The CUNY Office of Student Inclusion Initiatives, the Godwin-Ternbach Museum, Student Association at Queens College, the Queens College Alliance of Latin American Students/ALAS, the Neuroscience Club at Queens College, the Queens College Peer Counseling Program, the Center for Racial, Ethnic and Religious Understanding/CERRU at Queens College, the Queens College Women and Gender Studies Program, the Office of Student Development and Leadership at Queens College, and the Queens College Division of Student Affairs.</h2>

<h2>This event will be recorded and archived at the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives as part of the CUNY Public LGBT History Project.</h2>

<h2>Participation in this event has been designed to be as safe as possible. However, there remain risks associated with all in-person activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. To participate in this event, we require vaccinations. All participants, regardless of role, are subject to these rules.
