Join the fun and learn about Paint Pour Art with Amanda of Creative Retreat! Make a set of 4 ceramic abstract coasters and discover all the techniques to get you started. Amanda will cover how to mix the acrylic paints and apply additives to make the perfect mixer. By the end of the workshop, you will be a paint-pouring pro!

Amanda discovered Paint Pouring through YouTube and as a science lover she enjoyed experimenting with the different additives, colors, ratios and pouring techniques.

Amanda was born, raised, and currently resides in Northport. She has a BSN in Apparel & Textiles from Oneonta State University, as well as an associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. On top of her creative studies, she received a BSN in Nursing at Adelphi University and currently works as a registered nurse. Amanda is still very passionate about art, and she also teaches the Mandala Art Dot Classes at the Nest.

ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED IN THE CLASS

*Please Note: coasters will have to sit overnight to dry and then be picked up at a later date.

*Paint pouring can be messy! Even though we will be protecting our clothes, we also recommend you wear an outfit that you don't mind getting dirty.

*Must be over 12 to attend.
