Description

Who doesn't like to paint on a Sunday afternoon under the cool shade of Eucalyptus trees in one of the San Francisco natural treasures, Golden Gate Park. We will be learning the delights of acrylic painting finding our own unique style with gifted local artist, Molly Moo. This short evening is designed to satisfy your artistic spirit and paintbrush your imagination, capture the beauty of landscapes, creating amazing artworks, make memories with friends while relaxing and sipping some local wines from around the Bay. Artist will guide you through each steps of Acrylic painting during the event.

The Plan:

4:00 PM - We meet at the conservatory of flowers inside Golden Gate park

4:15 PM - Introductory lecture to Acrylic Painting by the Artist

4:30 PM - Paint starts to flow on canvas

6:30 PM - Wrap up and give final brush strokes to the artwork

7:00 PM - Take your Masterpiece home with you

What to bring:

We will supply all the materials needed for this event such as canvas, paints, brushes, smock etc. No prior experience in Acrylic or any other form of painting is necessary, just bring your artistic self. Bring water to stay hydrated.

Tickets:

Advanced tickets for this events must be purchased through EventBrite, no tickets sold on site. Please bring a paper copy of the ticket or show purchased tickets on your smartphone. This is our most popular event, plan ahead before it sells out. All proceeds are completely absorbed in organizing the event.

Artist Bio:

Molly Moo was born in Taipei, Taiwan. Upon emigrating to San Francisco, Molly, a lifelong artist, decided to dedicated herself to art. She has produced a significant body of work in many mediums including ceramics and printmaking, as well as painting. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums throughout the Bay Area. She is also an artist in residence at Yosemite National Park, where she teaches pastel drawing. Her work reveals her direct observation of life, formed and informed by her hard earned technical virtuosity, her professional background, her many travels around the world, and her passion for the shared experience of humanity.
