Join us for PAHA’s Annual Dinner on Wednesday, June 5. This year local historian Bo Crane will be sharing his look at the fun history of rock and roll in Palo Alto based on his new booklet, Ticket to Rock Palo Alto. Bo chronicles the many remarkable musicians who had their start or performed in our communicty, focusing on their homes and neighborhoods, the backdrop to a counterculture that began musically in this area.
A social hour will begin at 6:00 pm, with a gourmet Chinese buffet catered by Chef Chu's at 6:45 pm. New this year is a raffle with fun prizes from local Palo Alto businesses.
The Palo Alto Historical Association, a non-profit organization, was established in its present form in 1948 as a successor to an earlier organization founded in 1913. Our main objectives are: collecting, organizing, and preserving materials about the history and heritage of Palo Alto; making information available to the public about Palo Alto's history by means of monthly programs, exhibits, publications, and its official newsletter, the Tall Tree, and; recognizing and preserving historic sites and structures.
