Sketchbooks help us to record our thoughts, experiences, and to visually express our lives. Forming this creative habit can be a tool for one to further reach their artistic goals. Learn how to incorporate drawing, painting, and writing into your daily life through this three-hour intensive workshop that will focus on using the sketchbook as a safe place to take risks and to reflect through the use of the expressive arts. All materials are provided, including a hand-bound sketchbook.
About the instructor:
Tristin Miller is an artist who carries a sketchbook with her wherever she goes. The sketchbook has been fundamental in suppporting her work as an artist and arts instructor. She resides in Greensboro, NC and is a fine arts instrucor at the Art Alliance of Greensboro and teaches courses in the foundations of drawing and painting. Her passion is helping others understand what gets in the way of them being able to live a more expressive and innovative life, and how to remedy that through using the expressive arts and creative habits she uses in her own fine arts practice.
