Event description

Description

It is estimated that by the age of 65, up to 20% of the population will have peripheral artery disease (PAD), a circulatory problem that restricts blood flow to your limbs. Many people dismiss the most common symptoms of PAD – cramping, pain or tiredness in the leg or thigh muscles when walking – as normal signs of aging. But if left untreated, it may lead to serious complications. Join us for an interactive hour to learn how PAD is diagnosed, the best treatment options, and if you may be at risk. A tour of the La Porte Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation center will follow the presentation.

The event will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27
Location: La Porte Hospital’s Heart and Vascular Building (across the street from main hospital) 901 Lincolnway, La Porte, IN – first floor

Pick the time that’s best for you: 4 p.m., 5 p.m., or 6 p.m.
