Event description

Description

The B.A. Advocacy & Social Justice program is designed for those seeking the ability to affect positive change in the world. It provides students the confidence and knowledge to effectively mobilize communities and organizations for the greater good, preparing them for future work with civil liberties and individual rights, community development, disease and disability, education, environmental policy, labor, veteran’s rights, and more.

The Advocacy & Social Justice: Education concentration is designed to heighten student’s awareness of inequity in educational systems while providing tangible solutions when advocating for youth, families, and communities. Students explore the history of diversity, equity, and social justice within early childhood education and acquire the tools for educating communities to take action when experiencing injustice.

This new program starts in the Spring of 2018 and includes a special inaugural tuition rate.
