Description

Pace University Welcome Events are a chance for Pace to welcome you to your newly established home away from home. All incoming students are eligible to attend the events ranging from dates in the first four weeks of September (September 2nd-28th)

TEN THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS YEAR'S WELCOME EVENTS BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

  1. 1. All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE (under any and all circumstances).
  2. 2. Any and all correspondence regarding the Welcome Events will be sent out to your Pace Email Address. You are responsible to check this address for any updates regarding events you have signed up for.
  3. 3. A one time mandatory registration fee of $17.00 (YAY for the Class of 2017) must be paid in order to attend the events below (with the exception of our 9/11 and Veteran events). This is to help offset the costs of food and to ensure that only incoming students that have paid are taking advantage of the services offered (that’s right, upper classmen will not be able to partake in these activities unless they too have paid the $17.00 registration fee). These events are meant for YOU (incoming students)!
  4. 4. You MUST pick up your ticket at least 72 hours prior to the event. If you fail to do so, your ticket will be sold to another student on the waiting list and you will NOT be refunded under any and all circumstances.
  5. 5. Some tickets are valid for numerous days (not just the date and time that the group is attending). If you are interested in an event but cannot attend with the group, email pacewelcomesnyc@gmail.com or give us a call at (347)-676-1590 to be told alternative dates and times tickets can be used.
  6. 6. Travel expenses are not included so make sure to bring your MetroCard to any off campus event (with the exception of Six Flags and the Tanger Outlet Trip).
  7. 7. You can pick up your tickets at the special advertised times and locations or Monday-Thursday (10AM-6PM) & Friday (10AM-5PM) on the 8th Floor of 41 Park Row at the SDACA Office.
  8. 8. Times listed for off-campus events are 1 hour prior to the starting time of the event (enough time to meet at designated Meeting Places and travel to off-campus sites). If you are unavailable at the meeting time but can attend the start time of the event feel free to purchase your ticket and meet the group at the off site location.
  9. 9. If you get lost or can't find the group call the Welcome Events Hotline: (347)-676-1590. These calls get forward to Welcome Events Staffs' phones and they will be able to best assist you.
  10. 10. By registering for any Welcome Event you understand and are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
