PAA SDSR Race Training Sessions
Weekly Event - Every Wednesday: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Following on from the PAA Race Training Clinics that finished at the end of February, we will be holding three more race training sessions, specifically designed to help those who plan on competing in the upcoming San Dimas Stage Race. Like the Race Training Clinics these sessions will be designed and hosted by USA Cycling Coach and PAA Director of Racing Nick Humby.
If you are not planning on racing San Dimas, you may still join the sessions, the only pre-requisite is that you have adequate group riding skills. If you are not sure, please contact me.
There will be three sessions:
Week 1: Short hill and flat Intervals - to mimic conditions found on the Bonelli Park Course (stage 2 of SDSR)
Week 2: Hill time trial - to mimic the conditions found on the stage 1 GMR time trial
Week 3: Short hill and sprint intervals - again to mimic stage 2 conditions
There will be no training session the week before the race to allow for adequate tapering. We may also arrange for a group ride on a weekend before the race to recon the course, this will be arranged at the sessions.
Please sign up for all the sessions you plan on attending. You must be a current PAA member to attend.

The Pasadena Athletic Association (PAA) is a cycling club of approximately 300 members based in the San Gabriel/San Fernando Valley area centered around Pasadena. Teams have raced under the PAA banner since the 1960’s. Though PAA has primarily been known as a masters racing team, the club has morphed into a broad organization representing all types and levels of riders.
