OWN IT Summit 2020
Event Information
About this event
OWN IT tickets are officially on sale! OWN IT is a day-long summit with the goal of empowering women and connecting students with professionals in the field they're interested in. This year, we will feature mainstage conversations with Ambassador Samantha Power, Valerie Jarrett, Laura Jarrett, as well as a panel on changing workplace culture with executives from Booz-Allen Hamilton and the National Women's Law Center. We hope that you'll join us!
Hear from over 40 influential speakers representing various fields: medicine, technology, fashion, journalism, policy, advocacy, organizing, entrepreneurship, sports, wellness, non-profits, military service, documentary filmmaking, and more!
Tickets cover the cost of an 6-hour day with access to incredible speakers. In addition, the day will feature a light breakfast spread, lunch, access to our Marketplace, and free swag + tote from our sponsors!
This event is open to everyone: all GU students, faculty and staff AND those non-GU affiliated (women, men, and non-binary individuals!).
The OWN IT Summit strives to be inclusive and accessible for all, regardless of ability to pay. If the price presents a barrier, please email ownitsummit@gmail.com and we will happily provide a compensated ticket.
Attendees of all abilities are warmly invited to our Summit. Accommodation requests related to a disability should be sent by February 22 at 12:00pm to ownitsummit@gmail.com. A good faith effort will be made to fulfill requests made after February 22. We are eager to work with attendees to ensure that everyone has a comfortable, enjoyable, and affirming experience at OWN IT 2020.
Be sure to say you're "going" to the OWN IT Facebook event to get updates on the Summit, including speaker announcements!
