No pets are permitted at the EERC. Service animals are allowed.

Are there bathroom facilities?

There are portable facilities location at the parking lot and the pavilion.

Will this be a hard hike?

This hike is moderate. Vehicles are available to transport those who may need assistance.

I forgot to register. Can I still come?

Absolutely! We accept walk-ins at the start of the event.

Register to join us at Kentucky State University’s Environmental Education Research Center for a guided owl prowl.

Join us at Kentucky State University’s Environmental Education and Research Center for an Owl Prowl! Experience nature at night as we listen for two of our most active owl species: the eastern screech owl and the barred owl. There is no registration fee. Limited to 15 attendees.

Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be provided free of charge upon request. Language access services for limited English proficient individuals, will be provided free of charge upon request.
