A very special evening of international folk music:
OWL LIGHT TRIO
Owl Light Trio are an instrumental group based in Oxfordshire comprised of Jane Griffiths (Fiddle & Viola), Colin Fletcher (Guitar) and Jim Penny (Concertina).
They play both traditional tunes (from Britain, Ireland and Europe) and original compositions. Their arrangements often take unexpected twists and turns, and are always beautiful and compelling.
XOGARA
Hailing from Oxford via Galicia, Wales, and the West Country, Xogara are everything you might expect of an Anglo-Cymraeg-Galego four-piece. These acoustic multi-instrumentalists play with verve and gusto to complement the subtlety to be found in their arrangements of traditional and contemporary music from all over the British Isles and beyond. This is a rare chance to catch Xogara in Oxford!
