Overnight Investigation of The Stone Mansion

Join us for an intriguing and spine-tingling overnight investigation filled with history and mystery. Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 24th, from 6 PM and journey with us until 9 AM on Sunday, December 7th. This unique event promises an evening of exploration into the unknown, paired with a delightful potluck dinner.

Our investigation takes place at the historical site associated with General and Mrs. Stone, notable figures from the 19th century. Originally hailing from just outside Cincinnati, Ohio, they eventually settled in Winchester, Indiana. General Stone was a significant figure, serving in the Indiana State Senate both before and after the Civil War. His roles as Commissary General and State Quarter Master General during the war highlight his dedication to public service. Apart from his political career, he was also an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Tragically, General Asahel Stone passed away on February 25th, 1891, followed by Mrs. Stone on September 18th, 1892. Both are interred at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, a site of significant historical relevance.
