Taking the knowledge of "Remote Overland Vehicle Travel (OVT1)", we will apply and develop the skills needed for efficent and successful Overland Travel, even in difficult conditions.

This course is perfect for any level of overland experience from beginner to advanced. Techniques and skills covered include vehicle performance features, using a spotter, safety, towing, off camber driving, mud driving, sand driving, driving over obstacles, washes/ditches, off-road maneuvering, Towing, recovering with winches/hi-lift/flip flop winches and (other improvised methods), recovery with another vehicle, obstacle removal, and group/team driving.

While the course is designed for overland drivers, beginner and intermediate off road drivers will find this course useful.

Vehicle Note: Capable 4x4 vehicles are covered in this course, but all vehicle types and designs are welcome. Some obstacles and lessons aren't suitable for all vehicles. Vehicles not capable of performing will be idled and team/course vehicles will be used for the lesson.

Do you have a long drive from home to attend the class? Camping is available for free the night before the class.

If you have questions, please feel free to let us know.

If you will be camping, please show up early to pick your campsite. We will have a group campfire the evening of the course day.

You are responsible for food and drink during the course. All vehicle types are welcome, however, not all vehicles will be allowed to attempt all obstacles during the course.

Expect to get dirty and muddy. This means both your vehicle and yourself. While we do our best to minimize damage, we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle if you attempt the obstacles. You ARE NOT required to attempt any obstacle. We will have team/course vehicles available for training, at specific obstacles.
