Event description

Description

This is the London Geodiversity Partnership’s second Overground Underground open meeting to help renew the Action Plan. We invite you to join us to find out more about London’s Geology and how we involve local people and interact with local Government to share good practice, influence planning policy and establish cross-London working for geodiversity. Geodiversity is a fundamental cornerstone of our everyday lives. Raw materials that cannot be grown are provided by the geology beneath our feet. Geology also affects where we build and put our buildings and how they are serviced. It influences the design and layout of infrastructure, filters our drinking water, and underpins the landscape around us.
