Please join us for a Mental Health Symposium so we can put an end to the stigma on Mental Health!

About this Event

Every year in the Spring, American Federation of Teachers Jackson & PSRP, AFL-CIO puts on the Spring Education Issues Conference. This year’s theme is Mental Health: Overcoming Cultural Barriers to Access. The target audience for this conference is anybody that works in the public, specifically speaking: educators, social workers, public employees, higher learning professionals, nurses and other health care officials. Our speakers are people in your community that you can relate to. There will be several breakout sessions, uplifting entertainment including well known saxophonist Tiger Rogers. We will have a 5 star meal with dessert prepared for us by the outstanding Executive Chef Godfrey Morgan! Contact hour certificates will be issued by JFTPSRP. Continuing Education Credits in the amount of .7 will be earned and will be issued by Mississippi College. We will have numerous giveaways! You’re not going to want to miss this conference!
