Outside the Box: Little Boy Lost
Sat, May 20, 2017, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM EDT
Launched in 2014 with a grant from ArtPlace America, the Outside the Box series in Miami is open to the public, and features performances by artists across disciplines to engage the community. YoungArts provides rehearsal space, technical and production assistance, and other resources to encourage participants to innovate and collaborate with other alumni and emerging artists.
A site-specific multidisciplinary, collaborative performance created by composer Daniel Bernard Roumain and writer/researcher Lisa Armstrong, Little Boy Lost amplifies the voices of incarcerated youth, exploring themes of exclusion, loss, isolation, and redemption.
The National YoungArts Foundation strives to ensure that all of our spaces and events are accessible. We provide accessible seating for all performances and events. Sign-language interpretation services are available upon request with adequate notice. For information about accessibility at National YoungArts Foundation, please contact Natalie Padro at 305-377-1140, extension 1000 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
