About this event
Commercial fishing family recipes inspire North Carolina’s distinctive coastal cooking. Meet the hard-working families who carry on the state’s vital and historic commercial fishing culture while savoring a selection of dishes passed down through the generations. You'll dine on stewed crab, steamed shrimp and much more at famous Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe in Nags Head. All proceeds benefit NC Catch, a volunteer organization of commercial fishers, scientists, seafood market owners and others in the seafood industry working together with consumers to make sure you have access to safe, sustainable North Carolina seafood.
