Workshop Synopsis:

If you think that Outdoor Street Photography is just snapping pictures of random buildings, you could not be more wrong! Our hands-on workshop will have you think beyond the box and teach you how to work with the natural elements that come along with street photography. Learn how to develop and shoot photos that will not only capture the essence of the location but also evoke emotions.

The best part? You will be picking up all that while going on an immersive photo walk through the heritage-filled Chinatown. So, do come in casual wear and comfortable walking shoes.

Workshop outline:

  • Learn about the essential gear for street photography, how to work with the sun as a light source, and tips for shooting in undesirable weather conditions.
  • Develop an eye for candid shots and learn how to execute planned ones.
  • Get exposed to various types of shots, such as panorama, close-up, wide angle, and more.
  • Get acquainted with the knowledge needed to shoot different styles.
