Description
"I believe in the power of a story. It lightens burdens. It spreads love."
A one-night only staged reading of Advocates for Youth's Out of Silence: Abortion Stories from the 1 in 3 Campaign performed by the University of Washington's Undergraduate Theater Society, co-presented by the Human Right to Family Planning Conference 2015.
1 in 3 women will have an abortion in their lifetime -- but these stories are rarely heard and often misunderstood. This production is based on real stories of abortion and reproductive health made by real women. We invite you to join us for an honest and powerful representation of abortion.
The performance will last approximately one hour -- after the performance audience members will be able to ask the ensemble questions about this performance and begin a dialogue about the realities and dimensions of abortion stories.
