What should I expect from this breathwork session?

Expect a warmly guided, friendly and safe space to participate in conscious connected breathwork. Each month will explore a particular theme through meditation, connecting exercises and the breath.

Do I need any prior experience with breathwork to join?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience is necessary! This event is open to all levels, whether you are completely new to breathwork or have an established practice. Our facilitators will offer clear guidance throughout the session.

Question 3

What should I bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

Dress comfortably and bringing a mat, blanket and  pillow to create a cozy, relaxing space. Earbuds, lip balm and an eye mask if you have them. Keep water and tissues nearby.  We’ll be inviting you to journal to capture any reflections or insights that come up during the session.

Is there anything I should do to prepare?

Accepted Answer

Simply come with an open mind and heart. If you wish, you may set an intention for the year ahead and reflect on any aspects of 2024 that you want to release. Avoid heavy meals before the session, and wear comfortable clothing.

What if I feel emotional or uncomfortable during the breathwork?

Accepted Answer

Breathwork can bring up various emotions, which is a natural part of the process. Our facilitators are here to support you and guide you through these moments with compassion. Remember, you are in a supportive space, and you’re welcome to take breaks or adjust the practice to suit your needs.

How can I make the most of this breathwork session?

Accepted Answer

Approach the session with openness and curiosity. Take this time to connect with yourself and the community around you. Being present and fully engaged in the breath can bring profound clarity and focus for the new year.

Question 7

Are there any contraindications for participating in conscious connected breathwork (CCB)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, conscious connected breathwork (CCB) is not recommended for individuals with: cardiovascular disease, detached retina or glaucoma, diagnosed brain or abdominal aneurysm, epilepsy, diagnosed bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, uncontrolled diabetes, some thyroid conditions, high blood pressure.

Question 8

If I have any of the medical conditions listed, can I still participate in the breathwork?

Accepted Answer

If you have one of the above  medical conditions, we recommend you speak to your doctor however, you are still more than welcome and we’d love to have you with us. If you have any questions feel free to get in touch so we can support your process.

Question 9

When will I receive my link to the event?

Accepted Answer

Your link will arrive via email 2 days, 2 hours and 10 minutes prior to the event. Please check your junk mail if you don't see the email in your inbox. If you still can't see it, drop us an email kintsugitribeinfo@gmail.com and we will help you out.
