Event description
Join us for a special Q&A with White Feminism author Koa Beck

About this Event

Join us for our first book club event of 2021 as we chat with White Feminism author (and Out in Tech speaker fave!) Koa Beck.

White Feminism is a fascinating new dive into "how elitism and racial prejudice has driven the narrative of feminist discourse. Koa Beck blends pop culture, primary historical research, and first-hand storytelling to show us how we have shut women out of the movement, and what we can do to course correct for a new generation—perfect for women of color looking for a more inclusive way to fight for women’s rights."

The book can be ordered here. A note that you will not be expected to have read the book to attend the virtual event.

Koa will be in conversation with #book-club moderator Jackie Bellando.
