"The F*ck House” by Susan H. Pak. Directed by Daniella Wheelhouse

A Korean American teen and her best friend navigate the terrors of the midwestern suburbs. Now entering junior high, all Mo wants to be is “normal,” and assimilate into invisibility. Unfortunately, this will alienate her best friend, who only wants to be “special.” Will their friendship survive?

Sometime in the future civilization has become littered with zombies and cannibals. Two Laotian women from opposite ends of the world are brought together by a mysterious orphan. "Our Perspective: Asian American Play Readings” is a staged play reading series intended to provide inspiration, space, and audiences for Midwest Asian Pacific American playwrights, directors, and actors. These are script-in-hand concert readings where actors read plays written and directed by Asian Pacific Americans at Chicago’s top theaters. Presented by Asian Improv Arts Midwest’s AA Arts Incubator, “Our Perspective” is the first ever Asian American play reading series in the Midwest. These history making events are long overdue.
