About the organizer
A Safe Place Empowerment Network, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization, whose primary mission is to provide resources, referrals and comprehensive case management services. Our objective is to fill in the gaps by connecting clients in disadvantaged positions to services and programs, that otherwise would not be within their grasp.
Our founder, Dr. Wanda V. Joned is a passionate woman, who has been providing services in our community for over 15 years. Her original and zealous vision continues to be a successful, ongoing project called Woman of Integrity Support Center, Inc. And, her passion and dedication for mending broken pieces in our community has Not stopped there!
Dr. Jones will be hosting our upcoming fund raising event “WE ROCK AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ” Culture Concert at the BARCLAYS Center in Brooklyn, New York (Date) TBD.
The excitement and passion A Safe Place have for this upcoming event, stems from knowing that the proceeds of the concert will go towards the purchasing of a new home for “ASPEN,” as well as, securing several case management positions so that we [as a team] can continue to provide more services to assist the masses.
