Otto's Wednesday Jam & Open Mic

Otto's Wednesday Jam & Open Mic is an open mic followed by an open jam, the night is 21+, there is no advance signup. The open mic is primarily singer/songwriter focused but other performers are welcome. The open mic starts at roughly 6:45 pm followed by an open jam that starts at 10:30 and ends at roughly 12:45 am. It's STRONGLY suggested that open mic'ers get there early, people start getting there at 6 pm, if you want to participate in the open mic then roughly 8/8:30 pm is roughly the LATEST you can get there but again, it's strongly suggested you get there much earlier in the evening. Earlier in the night open mic'ers get two songs each to perform but later in the evening that switches to one song. The open jam is a fairly typical jam with music genres including rock and roll, blues, r&b, soul, funk, etc. We do NOT lean at all towards heavy metal, hard rock or jazz. The room is a small room, volumes are not that loud.
