The Toronto event was so successful, we're bringing the Nonprofit Digital Transformation Summit to all of Canada!

On September 20th, over 40 Executive Directors, Finance Directors, and HR Directors at leading Nonprofits across North America came together in Toronto to discuss leveraging technology to better deliver on their mission. We want to help this discussion reach even wider circles, so we're doing encore events in Ottawa and Alberta!

The concept of this event is to share ideas, benefit from the experiences of your peers, discuss barriers and challenges that many of you are facing, and provide you with tools and best practices to embark on your own Digital Transformation project at your Nonprofit.

All summit participants will be involved in a Digital Benchmarking Survey prior to the event and will get a results report post-event to see how you rank among your Nonprofit peers. You'll also get the chance to ask questions to our esteemed panelists (see below).

We hope you'll join us in this important discussion on how to transform the Nonprofit sector with technology in order to enable more good.

ABOUT RICHARD:

Richard MacNeill is a professional accountant and consultant, with more than twenty-five years of leadership and senior management experience in finance and administration. Before founding OTUS Group, Richard served in senior management roles with Teldon International Corporation and with TELUS Corporation. He also has experience in systems and information technology, and leverages his combined financial and IT expertise in helping clients to optimize their financial management systems and operations. Richard enjoys working with clients to help them streamline their operations and improve their bottom line.

ABOUT PHILIPPE

Philippe had been a teacher for 10 years when he started leading digital transformation initiatives in the education sector. As Vice Principal of a high school at the Commission scolaire des Draveurs, he led the adoption of the Cisco curriculum. His strategic vision and increasing passion around the integration of IT in the classroom were instrumental in his tenure as IT Director at CEPEO, the French public school board responsible for education in Eastern Ontario. There, he led the implementation of Google Apps for Education. At the Canadian Museum of History, he continues to lead innovative projects that leverage technology to better deliver on the Museum’s mandate while helping to strengthen, modernize and optimize its IT infrastructure.

If you ever meet Colin it won’t be long before you’ll learn a thing or two about this outgoing father of two, cycling fiend and tennis enthusiast. Colin takes every opportunity with anyone that will listen to share that Sparkrock has the best clients on the planet.

Colin has been involved in the Social Benefit Sector for almost 25 years. He sat on the Board of his first Not-for-Profit – a Community Economic Development Inititive in Ottawa – at the tender age of 22. Moving to Toronto to attend Business School in the mid-1990s, he ran a five person NFP, the York Business Mentorship Program, aligning students with willing mentors in the Toronto Business Community.

Colin also co-founded and ran a Not-for-Profit organization, ensuring 100% of its profits, tens of thousands of dollars, were channeled to Trails Youth Initiatives, an Organization that helps foster leadership amongst at-risk Youth, through a four-year Program of Outdoor Education.
