Alkaline/Zinc, Ni-Cad (dry & wet), Nickel Iron (wet), Nickel Metal Hydride (dry & wet), Lithium Ion, Lithium Primary, Mercury. Silver Oxide, Button Cells, and Lead Acid.

Please note: If hazardous waste containers are empty, dried out, or contents are completely hardened, dispose of them in your regular trash. LATEX PAINT in good condition will be collected, re-mixed and distributed to non-profit organizations. Unusable latex paint should be opened, dried out and put in regular trash disposal. Cat litter or soil added to the can will help dry out larger amounts. Unusable latex paint hinders the efficiency of our paint recycling effort and should not be brought to our collection event.

PHARMACEUTICALS (COOPERSTOWN ONLY) that will be accepted include: controlled, non-controlled and over-the-counter substances; expired or unexpired substances; liquid, pills, powders or patches; ointments, inhalers and vitamins. NO SYRINGES. Delivery should be in some small container, preferably the original device (no loose items).
