Award-winning storyteller, shaman and musical visionary Otis Taylor’s live performances are like fireworks – kaleidoscopic, riveting, explosive and wildly entertaining. Taylor has received an impressive 16 Blues Music Award nominations and won twice. His previous 13 albums have won five DownBeat Critics Choice awards, and Taylor was awarded France’s prestigious Académie Charles Cros after two earlier nominations, winning the Grand Prix du Disc for Blues. His music has appeared in the Hollywood blockbuster Public Enemy, starring Johnny Depp, and in the Mark Wahlberg vehicle Shooter. He was also a fellow in the Sundance Institute’s Film Music Program.
Chicago-based singer-songwriter and fiddle player Anne Harris has been crafting her unique sound for over ten years and “continues to raise the bar on a soulful blend of folk, pop, and roots rock on record, while her deft instrumental abilities continue to resonate in concert.” [Illinois Entertainer] In addition to her own projects, Harris is currently touring internationally with multi-Blues Award winner, Otis Taylor, where her fiddle and presence have become a signature element in his band's innovative trance-blues offering.
Tickets are valid for one show only. The doors open at 5:00pm, the first show begins at 7:00pm and the second show at starts 9:30pm. We begin seating for the second show at 9:00pm. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend that customers arrive early to secure preferred seating.
