During the skate sessions first 2 hours we will have female skate coaches available to inspire and help you take the next step with your skateboard. After the session we will eat pizza on the 2nd floor and you are more then welcome to join us at cost price.

With an average of 60 000 annual visitors Arena Bekkestua has played a pivotal role for many young people and the Norwegian skateboarding scene for the last decade. This includes riders such as newly turned Pro Karsten Kleppan! Arena Bekkestua opened their doors on the 1. September 2006 and has since then been dedicated to facilitating “Girl session” once a week. Our aim is to recruit female participants to skateboarding and encourage them to take part in our regular skate sessions throughout the week. This has shown to be a very successful program with about 15 – 30 regular female participants weekly! We pride ourselves in the work we have done to recruit and include girls in the local skate scene and are on this note happy to be participants and facilitators of the Oslo Open Girlz Skate Session during the X Games Oslo week.
