Orlando Rope Bite
Event Information
About this Event
Prerequisites:
Tops: Able to tie a suspendable harness
Bottoms: Bottoms are welcomed to attend however, during class, we will be practicing on rope bags or other items. However, this information is still important in creating risk profiles and negotiating scenes that include uplines.
This is not a 101 or intro to rope class.
In this class, we will cover the different ways to tie, lock off, and attach uplines, show the differences of using uplines on rings, bamboo, and carabiners, discuss safety pertaining specifically to uplines, and cover the pros and cons of each upline variety.
During this class, the tying person will be asked to use a rope bag or other heavy object to practice on. Bottoms are still encouraged to attend since knowledge of uplines is helpful in building risk profiles and during negotiations.
Attendance is limited. Please only RSVP if you are able to come. If you are no longer able to attend, message Kawaii_Sadist or 12cats on Fetlife so your ticket can be released.
Class begins at 8pm.
After class, there will be a rope jam to practice what you learned, workshop or lab ties, and skill share.
Check out our group, Orlando Rope Bite, on Fetlife and RSVP to this event!
