United Way of Metropolitan Dallas releases our Basic Needs Grants Request for Proposals (RFP) on an annual basis to provide funding for programs serving our local community. The purpose of this session will be to review the RFP in detail in order to familiarize applying organizations with the process and requirements related to the RFP.
Before you RSVP please consider if your programs meet these general requirements:
1. Concentrate its efforts and services within the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas service area (Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, and/or Southern Denton County).
2. Align with at least of one of United Way’s Basic Needs focus areas (Disaster Response, Emergency Assistance, Food, Housing/Shelter, Emergency Information & Referral).
3. Meet United Way’s financial criteria including: a complete annual independent audit, an annual tax return (Form 990/990EZ), an active Board of Directors, and an IRS determination letter verifying non-profit status
UNITED WAY WILL NOT PROVIDE PRINTED COPIES OF THE RFP FOR THIS SESSION SO PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TO REFERENCE DURING THE SESSION.
