Organic Gardening for beginners worshop is a class design to learn how to grow your own food in your backyard, garden or even in pots. Anyone can garden, but it can be a bit intimadating and frustating if you don't know what you are doing.
In this workshop, Debbie Baue (my wonderful and amazing mother-in-law) will be teaching and giving us the best tips to have a successful garden even when you have never grow anything.
She will teach and share everything you need to know to start your organic garden, how to plant your veggies using "companion planting" (to me this is the best method) and how to save your seeds.
I am extremely excited for this workshop, as she manages the Sustainable Garden at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She is also the garden coordinator for the Lettuce Learn Project, where she teaches children in Elementary school how to garden, and she is also the board member of Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture. So we will have a "gem" teaching us everything we need to know about organic gardening.
