Event description
A 3 DAY CONFERENCE ON REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE FEATURING DAN KITTREDGE, SUZANNE WAINWRIGHT, WENDY KORNBERG, AND CHRIS TRUMP.

About this event

So, what is this “Super Natural” event anyway? We are holding a three day conference with keynote speakers, casual chats, fierce debates, and heavy audience participation that is sure to be fraught with some tongue-in-cheek, snarky, good fun as well as tons of education and information on regenerative farming. We are encouraging question and answer sessions with all speakers, and we plan to have room for sponsors to have tables and be able to interface with the attendees. Contests before and during the conference will ensure that it is a blast for all. It’s more than just organic, it’s Super Natural.

Organic Cultivators in partnership with Sunnabis is proud to present an amazing lineup for our inaugural Super Natural Conference being held in Massachusetts February 11-13 at District Hall Boston. Our agenda? To spread the word of regenerative farming saving small farmers money and improving the health of the population and our planet by improving the overall nutritional, terpene, and cannabinoid content in our foods and medicines. The event will focus on going beyond simple OMRI approved methods and will include speakers with experience farming many different crops including row crops, market farm crops, orchards, and cannabis. There will be heavy audience participation as we move through the days so prepare your questions as we discuss the phenomena of the world under our feet.

The speakers?

Chris Trump – Chris walks the line of science and practical use technology. A farmer and consumer advocate, Chris is focused on education and natural agricultural tools. Using Natural Farming technology he is helping farmers in several different agricultural industries to implement this effective technology with great results.

Dan Kittredge – The founder and Executive Director of the Bio-Nutrient association Dan has been farming with organic practices for over 30 years. He is a generational farmer whose parents have a deep-rooted history in the organic farming movement. Dan has been a main proponent of educating consumers on the nutritional value of the food they are eating to drive crop producers to farm in a way that increases the mineral content of our food and regenerates the land.

Wendy Kornberg – Wendy is the owner of Sunnabis: Humboldt’s Full Sun Farms. She is a second generation legacy farmer specializing in regenerative farming techniques and is regarded as an exceptional cultivator among her peers. She has won numerous awards for her cannabis flower and her formulations. Wendy has advised farmers around the world and regularly travels to farms to help them cut costs and improve quality by implementing natural farming. As a founding member of the Ganjier council she has been instrumental in the creation of course material and administers in person training days for the students. She co-hosts the Ganja Tree radio program the first Sunday of every month on KMUD with co-host Sunshine focusing on cannabis cultivation. Wendy has dedicated countless hours of her time educating people for free and has been a bastion of regenerative farming. Growing and farming for over 30 years her passion shines through every time she teaches and talks about saving the planet.

Suzanne Wainwright-Evans - Suzanne is a horticultural entomologist specializing in integrated pest management. Suzanne has been involved in the Green Industry for more than 30 years with a primary focus on biological control and using pesticides properly. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with degrees in both Entomology and Environmental Horticulture. She has worked throughout the United States and internationally consulting to greenhouses, nurseries, landscapers, cannabis production and interiorscape companies. Additionally Suzanne has published articles in trade magazines and scientific journals. She teaches workshops and lectures professionally to industry groups bringing her scientific as well as practical approach to learning. Her lectures use her extensive library of insect photos and macro insect movies. She is the owner of Buglady Consulting, now in business 21 years.

Ben Morgan-Dillon - At the age of 18, Benjamin faced the devastating news; his father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given just 3 months to live. Despite all initial expectations his father lived for an additional 4 years, mostly symptom-free, due to excellent medical care and the tireless efforts of Benjamin refining his organic cultivation which helped his father endure his treatments. It was through this experience of witnessing the power of cannabis first hand that fueled Benjamin’s entrepreneurial drive and commitment to educating society on the benefits of organic and regenerative cannabis cultivation. Up until that tragic event, Ben was the top student in his nursing school program, but those plans were scrapped and he fully committed to building Acadia Farms. It’s mission: To produce eco-friendly cannabis-based products that have a net-positive impact on society and nature. While simultaneously providing industry leading education and guidance in cultivation and facility design to minimize environmental and ecological impacts. Over the past 5 years, Benjamin's passion to learn, experience, and teach have brought him to facilities, farms, and classrooms across the US, Europe, and the Caribbean. He is as eager to learn as he is to teach, and looks forward to every opportunity to do so.
