Join the Orenda Movement this coming 2018.

“The mystical force present in all people that empowers them to affect the world or effect change in their own life”

We call this the Orenda Movement because of the emotional connection and reaction the concept illicits. We are all capable of growth and we each have everything we need already inside of us. With tools, new concepts and habits to consider, and a support system over 5 weekly sessions with 4 coaches, we want to set you up for the best growth and balanced year you have experienced yet. Each session will focus on a different topic in the realm of mental health, physical strength, nutrition, and spirituality. Our final session will be with all four coaches as we come together to integrate what we have learned and practiced and celebrate with our community.

Session #1 with Marin McCue January 14th, 2018

Hi, I am a yoga teacher, yyc cycle motivator, mind-body coach (www.dopeame.com), and newly published author of my first book Be the Change. As someone who experienced mental health issues for most of my life, I am inspired to create experiences for others and share tools to pave the way to your best self as you develop new healthy habits. I know the feeling of being inspired one moment and then walking right back into my old habits and negative feedback loop in my mind. I strive to create experiences and support that keep you engaged long after you walk out the door and back into your life. I struggled with depression, eating disorders, anxiety, and self-harm for many years and I discovered that when I share my story from a place of purpose and empowerment, we all break down barriers that are in the way of true healing and growth. My purpose is to share, support and lead by example for anyone who wants more for their life. When we show up as our best selves, we make a positive impact in the world. When we focus on being the best version of ourselves, we heal and inspire everyone we touch. When we work hard to develop new habits and broaden our perspective to meet people where they’re at, we are a positive catalyst in the lives of many. Join me for an afternoon of soulful music, joyful movement, inspired concepts and teachings, and a guided journal session to set the foundation for your growth in 2018.

The first session will create a foundation of balance and direction, as Marin McCue leads you through a Yang /Yin sequence to feel balance in your body and mind. After the yoga class, you will be lead through a guided journaling session that will introduce a new way to think about and practice balance as you land on your tangible goal and Change challenge for the weeks ahead.

Session #2 with Tara Newbigging January 21, 2018

Entrepreneur, the mastermind behind the BooTy® program, Soul Coach, Fitness Coach, Yoga Teacher, and adventure seeker residing in the Canadian Rockies. I hold a Bachelor of Physical Health and Education with a Major in Health Promotion. Beyond the labels, I am a passionate individual who loves to inspire people and help them discover their talents and gifts.

'My Mission is to encourage and empower others to achieve higher levels of personal wellness and fulfillment.'I share my passion and teachings in a variety of ways. Through fitness classes, The BooTy® program, Retreats, and one-on-one soul coaching; I am committed to helping individuals achieve their ultimate goals. I enjoy helping enable others to make courageous changes, let go of fear, understand both head and heart, embrace and explore self, and most importantly provide support to truly LIVE and LOVE their life. The mind and body are in direct connection and therefore it is only fitting that I help others explore both to the fullest. At the end of the day, if I can put a smile on someone's face, and share some spark to their day, I have SERVED.

With Tara, you are going to be doing her BooTy® class so be ready to sweat and smile and rock out!

BooTy® was created in 2012 when I needed it most. It came from a place of regeneration, vulnerability, and inspiration. BooTy® is central to the person that I am today. I am very grateful that I can share it with others and have such a profound impact on women's lives. My goal is to share this program with women around the world and certify other leaders in hopes that many women can feel and experience the powerful effects that I have. BooTy® challenged me when I needed to be challenged, it centered me when I was off balance, it taught me to love more than I ever knew I could. Most importantly though, it helped me discover the deepest parts of myself, which I am ever so grateful for. If there is one thing that everyone has to say about BooTy® is that you have to experience it to understand it. Woman walk away feeling strong and empowered to live their most authentic lives. It provides a supportive environment for women to connect with self. BooTy® is for women of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. You do not need to be coordinated, you just need to be you. Each class you will leave feeling clear, strong and empowered. Trust me... you have to try it out for yourself.

Session #3 with Nicolette Jones January 28, 2018

Meet Nicolette Jones, a holistic nutrition & lifestyle coach. Nicolette’s approach to health and wellness is unique and all-encompassing; focused on four pillars of vitality NUTRITION – FITNESS – SELF CARE – MENTAL HEALTH, she is not your average health coach!

She stands firm that every client is biochemically unique, with diverse lifestyles and goals – so you won’t find any cookie-cutter meal plans and training sessions here! She loves inter-connecting symptoms and really getting to the root of your health concerns, whether it’s weight loss, digestive issues, allergies, mental health struggles or hormone imbalances. No band-aiding symptoms allowed!

She is passionate about making a healthy life fun and easy, so you can stick with it! No restrictive dieting, fear of foods, endless cardio or tough sacrifices! Her approach is about prioritizing yourself, having a “HELL YES” life and enjoying your life while feeling as good as possible.

Join her at Friendship Fitness to learn about making easy, sustainable shifts in your lifestyle to feel like a rock-star! We’ll be creating our own natural self-care products, snacking on healthy bites and talking about how to create eating habits that will improve your physical and mental health.

Session #4 with Lucy Dunne February 4th, 2018.

Meet Lucy Dunne. She has taken the online personal training market by storm and cannot wait to talk with you about types of strength training, myths surrounding women who lift heavy weights and other components to consider when it comes to weight training. Lucy understands every client is unique and takes time to listen; understand and to earn trust. Say "No" too food restrictions, say "No" to hours on the treadmill and say "Yes" to becoming the best version of yourself ever. Become stronger, faster and tougher after this bodyweight workout with Lucy. People from all walks of life and skill level can complete this workout and see the benefits.

Session #5 with all four coaches Feb 11th, 2018.

Join all four coaches as we celebrate our progress and integrate all four previous sessions into one badass event.
