This is a hands-on workshop with step-by step instruction on photographing orchids at the New York Botanical Garden's Orchid show. We will learn about getting the correct exposure, choosing the right shutter speed and ISO and how they affect our images. In addition, there will be instruction on lens selection and choosing the right aperture to get the appropriate depth of field. White balance to get the correct color as well as composition will be taught. Tripods are not allowed at the show. After you register for the class you will recieve a .pdf document that will outline the day as well as what will be taught. This is for all skill levels. DSLR users will get the most out of this class but all are welcome!
The fee for the workshop is $50.00 PLUS you must purchase a ticket from NYBG for the orchid show.
