Event description

Description

Join us for this lecture-concert series where we will investigate the history, construction, and repertoire of the instruments of the classical orchestra. From strings to woodwinds, from brass to percussion, from the organ to the conductor who brings it all together. Today's event will focus on the saxophone and is led by saxophonists and TBMS master musician-teaching artists Javier Oviedo and Gene Rohrer.

The Daytime Lecture series is presented in partnership with Lenox Hill Neighborhood House at St. Peter’s Church. The free event series is open to the public, but RSVP is required.

This lecture will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 619 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022, just around the corner from TBMS!
