Orchard Care Seminar

Join Home Orchard Education Center & the CCC Horticulture Department, for a half-day orchard care seminar featuring local horticultural and orcharding educators and experts. During this in-person event, we will cover topics such as:

• Appropriate selection of fruiting plants for the PNW.
• Holistic & clay sprays covering the basics of Michael Phillips Holistic Sprays for fruit trees, what the components specifically target, how and when to apply.
• Introduction to USpest.org, a tool to help maximize the efficacy on target pests.
• Fruit pruning basics.
• Identification of common disease and pests of fruiting plants
• Growing berries & nuts.
