Whitman Works Company is proud to present an exhibition by Gretchen Lee Carletta of Orange Sky Creations. “The Mantra Series” is a collection of abstract artworks in pastel - stream-of-consciousness paintings developed to elicit a sense of peace & joy. The artist's creative process makes use of Movement, Vibrant Color, and Energy that is both forward-moving and positive. Please join us at a reception with the artist to celebrate the opening of this remarkable exhibit on March 2nd from 6-9 pm. About the artist: Gretchen Lee Carletta is the artist behind Orange Sky Creations. Ms. Carletta began her career as an artist and photographer at Alfred University’s School of Art and Design in 1995. She found herself motivated to work with pastels and drew inspiration from a wide variety of sources. Her technique eventually evolved into the improvisational style that comprises much of her work to this day.
