About this Event

This summer, Orange County 4-H is offering youth a Virtual Summer Experience. We have two programs; 4-H Virtual Healthy Kids Camp (June 22-25, 2020) and 4-H Virtual S.T.E.M. Camp (July 13-16, 2020). Both virtual camps are open to youth ages 8-13 and involve 2 hours of interactive, fun, hands on activities/programs led by UF Faculty and Volunteers “live” via Zoom.

During 4-H Virtual Healthy Kids Camp, online “campers’ will have fun learning about indoor & outdoor gardening, making healthy snacks, enjoying the outdoors, money habitudes, mindfulness for kids, and a surprise “virtual” field trip experience. Registration deadline is June 12, 2020.

During 4-H Virtual S.T.E.M. Camp, online “campers” will take part in engaging guided activities each day following the letters in S.T.E.M. Science: Hydroponics and Anatomy of Movement. Technology: Radio Waves and Drones. Engineering: Engineering Design and Wiggle Rockets. Math: Biometrics of Exercise and Tree Tracking. Registration deadline is July 1, 2020.

Both camps will cost $15 (Non 4-H Members)/ $10 (Active 4-H Members). There is a discount if you register for both. Materials not commonly found at home are included in registration, and will be mailed to participants.

This Eventbrite is to reserve/pay for your child's spot in camp. This is not your registration. Once you reserve your spot, someone from our office will reach out with registration instructions. Please email orange4h@ifas.ufl.edu if you have any questions.
