Join Your Colleagues at the 2016 Oral Health Summit
This year, the Virginia Community Healthcare Association is offering our community health center members the opportunity to attend the Oral Health Summit, hosted by the Virginia Oral Health Coalition. The summit will take place on Thursday, November 10, at the Westin in Richmond, Virginia. Come learn about how to utilize oral health data, research, and targeted messaging to promote oral health awareness and advance initiatives that increase access to care.
For those interested in attending this year’s Oral Health Summit, the Virginia Community Healthcare Association is offering the opportunity to attend, free of charge.
The scholarship includes the cost of registration, hotel room for one night at the Westin, and a $75 stipend to cover gas, food, and other travel costs. Please note this does not cover alcohol. The stipend and the hotel room would be allotted per person. The hotel rooms are standard king beds; please contact us if you need special accomodations.
There are currently 20 openings available. We are allowing 2 participants per health center. Registrations will be accepted until September 16th. Registration for the conference and the cost of the hotel will be paid by the Virginia Community Healthcare Association. We will register attendees for their hotel and for the conference. By completing this registration, you agree to attend the conference and stay Wednesday, November 9 at the Westin hotel.
To receive the $75 stipend, you must submit your receipts for gas, food, and other travel related expenses to email@example.com. Itemized receipts with alcohol are unacceptable. We will send out an expense form to all registrants at a time closer to the summit. All itemized receipts must be received by December 1.
For those interested, there will be a networking breakfast for all CHC staff attending the Oral Health Summit. Breakfast will be held in Salon D at the Westin on November 10 from 7:15 to 8:15 am. This is a great opportunity to meet dental staff from other health centers and connect with one another.
