Join 52 Hike Challenge Illinois on a winter wonderland hike through the pines for Opt To Act on Black Friday.

When: Friday, November 29, 2019 at 9:00am. We are meeting at Red squirrel trailhead (by restaurant) for instructions and giveaways. Starting no later than 9:15 AM.

Skill Level: Intermediate. Approximately 3 miles

Be sure to wear adequate clothing and sunscreen and bring at least 2L of water, along with snacks and electrolytes. As always, please pack your 10 essentials for safety reasons! Since this is a cleanup hike, please also bring a trashbag, gloves and/or grabber. We will be picking up trash along the trail as we Opt to Act today and everyday.
