Description

Join us on Friday November 24 for an #OptOutside Pop-Up Hike to Los Pinos Peak in the Cleveland National Forest.

We will be meeting at the trailhead (GPS coordinates, 33.662206, -117.447975) at 9:00am and hiking to the summit of beautiful Los Pinos Peak where we will enjoy a light lunch.

Use the coordinates and you won't get lost! This is located near the Blue Jay Campground, parking is off the dirt road (see below for directions) and a National Forest Adventure Pass is required for parking at the trailhead. The difficulty rating on this hike is moderate, with 5.3 miles round trip and 1,350 feet of elevation gain, taking us approximately 3 hours. Please bring sunblock, layers, hat, 2 liters of water and snacks!

Please read more about the hike and trail description through these great write-ups on Modern Hiker and SoCal Hiker's websites:
