Opportunity Knocks -- Be Ready to Answer
Along with his wife, RoseAnn, Joseph Pumilia owns and operates the Chick-fil-A franchise in Brea, CA. Having started working for Chick-fil-A while in high school, Joseph learned what it would take to get ahead and to get what he wanted out of life. While having his own struggles at home, Joseph had a great mentor who taught him when opportunity knocks, you'd better answer.
Through his late teens and early twenties, Joseph took advantage of every opportunity that opened with the #1 chicken chain, Chick-fil-A. After working his way up to a manager at age 17 and becoming a New Restaurant Opening Supervisor for Chick-fil-A, Inc. shortly after college, Joe applied and was offered the Brea franchise in October 2010. The franchise exceeded its original 2011 sales expectations, and for the past year and a half has enjoyed consistent annual sales growth.
While Joe and RoseAnn have over two years under their belt, they are both humble to understand that in this business every day is a different day. Each day presents its own challenges, but with determination, hard work, discipline, a willingness to take risks, and prayer, the Pumilias are determined to become the first Orange County Chick-fil-A to exceed $5 million in annual sales.
Opportunity knocks for you, too -- are you ready?
