The country’s first annual WWI-themed cooking competition goes even more international in 2016 as Operation: War Fare returns Thursday, Aug. 4 in J.C. Nichols Auditorium at the National World War I Museum and Memorial.
This year’s event features The Chew contributor, MasterChef Australia star and Dude Food author Dan Churchill, Kansas City native and chef/owner at New York City restaurant Speedy Romeo Justin Bazdarich, Grünauer’s Nic Bandelier, Renee Kelly of Renee Kelly’s Harvest, and James-Beard nominated Room 39 owner Ted Habiger.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour and complimentary food from the participants with the competition set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are only $15. The event sold out in both 2014 and 2015, so purchase your tickets soon!
