Event description

Description

Operation Student Recovery (OSR) was launched by the San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) in February 2007 in an effort to make personal connections with the families of truant students with the goal of getting those students back in school and rescuing them from a bleak future.

OSR is a collaboration between educators and community partners working toward students' success. SBCUSD plans on hosting additional OSRs throughout the 2017-2018 school year (four per year), each with a different objective.

OSR is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2017 (8am-12pm)

If you are interested in participating in OSR, please RSVP and be sure to indicate: your name, site/department/organization, phone number, and whether or not you are bilingual (please specify language).

Participants will receive a brief training at the Board of Education building (777 North F Street) at 8am prior to conducting visits. The event will end at approximately noon at Youth Services (1535 West Highland Avenue).

We hope you will join in this great opportunity to reach out to our SBCUSD community. Please contact Youth Services, Attendance Division at (909) 880-6807 if you have any questions.
